Valentines Day

          Valentine's Day is the day for celebration of love. People say red is a color of Love,  Love is for expression, Love is blind, love is worship and many more.. I really don't know why they say red is a color of love and red is a color of danger too, means Love is danger......hoo what to do with color!!!........its not going to make any difference in anybodies life..

           Valentine's day concept has to be appreciated because, this celebration has resulted in taking a different flavor in different parts of the world, i think whole world celebrates this fest....Fest is not only for couples somebody else is also celebrating this, guess who???   its non other than gift shop owners......am i rite??  Valentine's day has evolved into a commercial occasion, highest number of gifts, flowers, chocolates, jewellery etc are sold in this month and make huge profit, its one of the most profitable occasion in a calendar year, strange but its true....

    

 What would be the best gift for this valentine's Day? 

           Chocolates, Cake( vanilla cake in red scroll down for the recipe), flowers (red roses-because its symbol of love), jewellery(Diamonds ), puppy, cards and and and hmmm hmmm what else, for some couples, the perfect Valentine's Day gift might be a divorce, true rite, if its becoming difficult to stay together, not happy together, this would be the best gift for them, with happy ending.....

Valentine's day is a busy schedule for couples, buy gifts, book a movie ticket,  restaurants are busy on this day have to book it in advance, dress up according to their partners wish, busy taking pictures for their photo album upload it to Facebook, tweet it, mail it just to give a demo of their valentine's day arrangement, and be busy whole day replying to their likes and comments, really busy,  hats-off to their multitasking and time management.....

        Because of this advanced social and multimedia this day not yet all remained  as a personal affair, it has become like a war of pride.....break up, patch up, new affair,now it has become a small issues... 

   Little disappointment for some people on this day who are single, i suggest you people stay at home take rest, eat chocolates, watch movie, u do what ever u want, no stress, no heart braking and no expectations from any one....

         

               I like to stay at home for this valentine's Day, cook for my partner, watch a movie, share gifts, have candle light dinner...( because its raining :) :))

Special day with Special dish and small creativity( Vanilla Cake In Red )

Red muffins, red cookies, sandwich cookies made with a single cake batter

         

Ingredients:
 
   

•     1 1/2 cup sifted cake flour
•     1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
•     1/4 teaspoon salt
•     1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
•     1 cup sugar
•     2 large eggs
•     1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla powder
•     1/2 cup whole milk
•     Red edible color

note- 1 cup means 150 gms

Method:


   > Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat cake pan with butter and dust with all-purpose flour. Sift the cake flour, baking powder, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
   > Beat the butter using an electric mixer set or hand blender or hand beater, until the mixture resembles sand. Beat in the sugar a tablespoon at a time, until the mixture resembles fine  sand. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla and milk, and beat, just until blended. Do not over beat.
   >Add red Color and mix it
    Pour into the prepared pan and bake it for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool cake in the pan for 5 minutes.
Un-mold and cool completely.
    If you are preparing cup cakes or muffins bake for 20 to 22 minutes, no need to coat cup cake papers with butter

note- icing has to be done only when the cake is in room temperature or icing will melt down

Oven has to be preheated at 350 degrees, to preparing cup cakes  you need to set the time for 20 minutes, if you are making in big cake pan set the time for 30 minutes...

The color which i used in this dish Wilson brand, you can use any edible colors

Mix the color properly for smooth even finishing

Pour cake mix up to 3/4 of the paper cup, cake is going to rise after it is baked

Happy Valantine's Day to All

Pour  just a half inch of cake mix and bake it, after baking u get a cake cookies, fill it with frosting cream. To make Sugar Frosting cream: In bowl, add 1 cups powdered  sugar or icing sugar to ¼ cup butter, beat until creamy, add 3 tablespoons milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla essence ; beat until smooth. If needed, add a little more sugar for desired consistency.

To make this pour 1 inch cake mix in a butter coated pan and bake it, when it is cooled cut it into any desired shape. 

To make hidden chocolate muffins. first pore 1 inch of cake mix, place a frozen chocolate in between, u can use any chocolate of your wish, froze the chocolate before placing it because in the baking process it may melt and stick to the pan, next pour rest of the mix on the chocolate to cover it,   ( note- 3/4 of the cup should only be filled ) and bake it.           .
