Milk Cake

Milk cake... Ingredients 2 cup sugar   4 eggs 1 tsp vanilla essence/ extract 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour 2 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 1/4 cup milk 10 tsp butter cubed Method In a large bowl, beat eggs  for 5 minutes or until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy. Add  vanilla essence/ extract . Combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to batter; beat it until smooth. In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter just until butter is melted. Gradually add to batter; beat just until combined. Pour into a greased  baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean(it means it is baked perfectly)  Note: Cut the cake when it is cooled. Garnish with grated chocolate.(optional )   

Yellow flower Refrigerator magnet DIY

Yellow flower Refrigerator magnet  DIY Things required: Polymer clay yellow and brown color, tooth pick,  magnet and glue. Follow the step by step instructions as shown in the above picture, make 5 petals. This is a middle part of the flower, dot impression is given using tooth pick. Fix all the petals and the brown part together as shown in picture and bake it in 200 degree F pre heated oven for about 30 minutes.Leave it to cool,  when it is cooled fix the magnet back of the flower using glue and the flower refrigerator magnet is ready.

Jewellery box DIY

Jewellery box DIY Things required : A wooden jewellery box, acrylic or oil paint or enamel paint , paint pen (gold color), Gold beads, and glue to stick beads. If paint pen is not available, you can use fev i cr y l metallic paint or gold enamel paint First apply paint on the box let it dry for 30 minutes. Next take paint pen of any color, i took gold color and draw design on all the sides of box , i made mehandi design and at last stick the beads using glue.

Tortilla paneer snack

Tortilla paneer snack Ingrediends Ready made tortillas ( maida chapaties ) Grated paneer 1 cup/ cottage cheese Sliced Cabbage 1/2 cup Sliced capsicum/bell peppers 1/2 cup Sliced onion 1/2 cup Chilli powder 1/2 tsp Tomato sauce 3 tsp  Salt to taste Method >Fry cabbage, capsicum, onion till the raw smell disappears. > Next add chilli powder, salt and saute for 2 minutes. > Add tomato sauce and grated paneer/ cottage cheese  mix it well and stuffing is ready. > Heat a pan, place tortillas on pan  and heat  both the side of tortillas and next place the stuffing in between and fold the tortillas into half and fry both the side till it is crispy.  Fry cabbage, capsicum, onion till the raw smell disappears.  Next add chilli powder, salt and saute for 2 minutes.  Add tomato sauce and grated paneer/ cottage cheese  mix it well and stuffing is ready.    Heat a pan, place tortillas on pan  and heat  both the side of tortillas and next place th

 Peas and corn chat Ingredients : serves 2 Boiled fresh peas 1 cup boiled sweet corn 1 cup chopped onions 1/4 cup chopped tomato 1/4 cup grated carrots 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 3 tsp  sav 1/2 cup puffed rice 1 cup 8 pani puries crushed  For sweet chutney Tamarind juice 1 cup Jagree 1/2 cup 1 tsp roasted jeera powder/ cumin powder  1/4 tsp salt For pudina chutney / mint chutney  1 bunch pudina/ mint chopped 1 cup coriander leaves 2 green chillies 1 inch ginger  1 tsp jeera/ cumin powder 2 tsp chat masala salt to taste  Method : For mint chutney and sweet chutney For pudina chutney : Grind pudina,coriander leaves, ginger,cumin, chat masala , chillies and salt as shown in picture and keep aside                                                                                                                                                                                              For Sweet chutney : Take tamarind juice add j

Egg snack

Egg Snack : Egg snack.... Ingredients Boiled and pealed eggs -3 fresh peas 1/4 cup Sweet corn 1/4 cup Onions chopped 1/4 cup Half Tomato chopped   Grated carrots 1/4 cup Jeera / cumin seeds 1/2 tsp Chilli powder 1/2 tsp Garam masala 1/2 tsp Oil 2 tsp salt to taste Method -Boil the eggs and peal the shells  and keep aside. - Take a pan add oil and jeera crackle it. -Next add all the veggies and saute till it is cooked well. -Add chilli powder, garam masala, and salt to taste, mix it well for another 2 minutes and turn it off. Topping is ready - Cut the eggs half place it on the plate and garnish with cooked topping on it. Egg snack is ready to munch.... Kadubu/ karjikai

Kadubu/ karjiikai /Ugadi special Dish Ingredients : Ingredients for outer layer : Maida/All purpose flour - 1/2 cup Fine sooji/ Semolina - 1/8 cup Rice flour - 1/2 tsp Milk - 1/4 cup Salt  - A pinch Hot ghee or oil - 1/2 tbsp (I used Ghee/Brown butter)   Ingredients for Hoorna or stuffing  : split pigeon peas/togari bele/tour dal/ - 1 cup Water - 5 cups Jaggery - 1 cup  Gasagase/Khus Khus : 1 tbsp Ghee : 1tbsp Method: 1.Bring 5 cups of water to boil. Add split pigeon peas/togari bele/toor dalcover and cook. 2.Watch the vessel carefully as the water might spill, reduce the flame and cook for next 5-10 mins . Spoon out little dal and check whether the outer rim of the peas is cooked, if it is, then switch off the gas and let the dal stay in hot water.   3.Filter  the water from Dal and add grated jaggery to it. Mix it over low flame till jaggery melts. Let it cool again. (Reserve the water to make a sweet and spicy holige saaru)  4.Grind cooked peas in a mixer

Masala K akra... Ingredients(serves 2) Kakra 2 Tomato chopped 4 tsp Onion chopped 4 tsp Carrot grated 4 tsp Chat masala 1/2 tsp Salt 2 pinch Chilli powder  1/4 tsp Sweet chutny  1 tsp Combine all the above ingredients, your topping is ready, spread the topping on kakra and enjoy with tea .                      For sweet chutny: 2 tsp tamarind juice, 1/4 tsp jeera/ cumin powder, 2 tsp jagree powdered , a pinch of salt.  Suggestion : Its perfect for evening snack with ho t cup of tea....Enjoy :) Preparation time 10 minutes if Kakra is ready

Egg curry

Egg curry  Ingredients: Boiled egg 4 1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds 2 tsp ginger garlic paste 1cup onions chopped 1cup tomato chopped 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1/2 garam masala 1/2 tsp suger 1 tsp kitchen king masala 7-8 curry leaves 4 tsp oil chopped coriander leaves salt to taste  Method 1. Boil 4 eggs and peal the shells and roast it in a pan with 2 tsp oil and keep aside(shallow fry) 2. Take a pan add oil, jeera, ginger garlic paste,curry leaves saute until the raw smell disappears. 3. Add onion saute for 2 minutes and next add tomato saute till it is soft and add water and boil it for 2 minutes 4. Next add chilli powder, kitchen king masala, garam masala, sugar and salt and boil for 3 minutes 5. At last add shallow fried eggs and boil for another 2 minutes and egg curry is ready. 6. Polymer clay green pendent Roll green clay with white clay, make long stick, cut into 3 piece and  join all the 3 sticks together. Roll all the 3 stick to single stick and slice it using sharp knife. You get the above design. Take small ball of white clay roll it, place al the sliced clay on it and again roll it using a roller till the surface is smooth and even. Cut the clay according to your desired shape and the be a d is ready to bake. Preheat the oven to 220 degree F and bake 30 minutes and the be a ds are ready to make any kind of jewellery. I made a hanging pendent using these be a ds Ready to wear .......
